Alnico magnets are made primarily from aluminum, nickel, cobalt,
copper, iron and sometimes titanium. The composition of alnico alloys is typically 8¨C12% Al, 15¨C26% Ni, 5¨C24% Co, up to 6% Cu, up to 1% Ti, and the balance is Fe. They can be either cast or
sintered.
Sintered Alnico magnet is usually restricted to smaller sizes,
it has slightly lower magnetic properties, but better mechanical
strength than cast alnico magnet. Sintered Alnico magnet is
widely used in all kinds of sensors, meters, controller
speedometer and other applications.
