How to Choose and Use Permanent Magnet Separators

1,To make an correct choice of a permanent magnet Separators ,we must consider the iron content of
the material, requirements of separation, the use environment and Separators its own characteristics.

2, When there is more iron in the materials, a electromagnetic or permanent magnet automatic
separator which have the continuous ability of iron separation and self iron dumping should be used.

3, When there is less iron in the materials, we can use electromagnetic or permanent magnet
manpower separator. Also to make for iron separation, we can reduce the hoisting height of the
separator.

4, when electricity capacity is restricted, to choose permanent magnet separators.

5, We should used the full obdurate structure separator when it have to work in an high dust
environment.

6, The separator should be installed at the head of the belt machine, it is good for iron separation
due to the front imbulsive force and the loose-in material.but driver at the bottom of the separator
should be made of non-magnetic materials.

7, When the separator installed in the central of belt machines (that is, cross-layout), to improve
the iron separation performance, a non-magnetic linear roll can be installed below the belt.

8, As to the non-ferrous materials which can not be separate by the permanent magnet separator ,we
can use the metal detector. It will alarm when the non-ferrous metal is found ,so we can stop the
machine and separate them by hand .

9, The permanent magnet separator has following characters : it is easy to absorb the long iron then
the small and short's, the moving's than the still's,the acuate's than the spheral's .If the high
separation ability in need in some place , we can used more powerful separator or an multilevel
separator.

10, If an multilevel separator is used , the back segment's separate ability must higher than the
front segment,other wise ,the back segment will be of poor separate performance.
