Samarium cobalt (SmCo) are divided into different components based on SmCo5 and Sm2Co17. SmCo5 series of has a maximum operating temperature of 250ˇăC, while Sm2Co17 of 350ˇăC. Special grades of Sm2Co17 are available to even higher temperatures.
