ndfeb magnets come in different grades
ndfeb magnets come in different grades, which match the strength of their magnetic fields, starting from N35 (weakest and least expensive) to N52 (strongest, most high-priced and even more brittle). An N52 magnet is approximately 50% stronger than an N35 magnet (52/35 = 1.49). In the united states, it is typical to locate consumer grade magnets within the N40 to N42 range. In volume production, N35 is frequently used if weight and size are not an important consideration as it's less expensive. If weight and size are critical factors, higher grades are generally used. There is a premium within the price of the greatest grade magnets it's the same more established to view N48 and N50 magnets found in production versus N52.
