What are Alnico Magnets drawbacks?

The intrinsic coercivity of Alnico is very low, usually less than 160kA/m. Its demagnetization curve is a nonlinear change, and the recovery line of aluminum nickel cobalt permanent magnet does not coincide with the demagnetization curve. Therefore, special attention should be paid to its particularity in the design and manufacturing of device magnetic circuits, and the permanent magnet must be stabilized in advance. Based on the low coercivity of aluminum nickel cobalt permanent magnet materials, it is strictly prohibited to come into contact with any ferromagnetic material during use to avoid local irreversible demagnetization or distortion of magnetic flux density distribution. In addition, in order to enhance its anti demagnetization ability, the aluminum nickel cobalt permanent magnet pole surface is often designed in the form of long columns or rods
